It's always a sad day when a celebrity's ego is bigger than their bank account. Apparently, Kanye West's $14 million Wyoming ranch has been sold back to its original owners, because who needs a secluded spot to retreat from the world when you can just, you know, not pay your bills? It's like he forgot that being a famous rapper doesn't automatically mean you're exempt from adulting. Maybe he was too busy trying to become the next Steve Jobs or something.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with his numerous financial mishaps, including losing his Malibu mansion and Calabasas ranch due to lack of payment. Nor did his string of antisemitic rants and subsequent loss of lucrative deals play a role in this decision. Nope, definitely not that. It's just a coincidence that his ego is now smaller than his wallet. Who knows what he'll do with the remaining change? Maybe buy a participation trophy or something.

It's also hilarious to hear that neighbors were puzzled as to why West didn't do anything to maintain the property. I mean, it's not like he's been known for his questionable judgment and lack of impulse control in the past. Oh wait, that's exactly what we're talking about. It's like he thought the ranch would magically fix itself while he was off making more questionable life choices.

I'm sure the original owners are just thrilled to have their family property back, albeit in a state of disrepair. I mean, who wouldn't want to inherit a bunch of neglected buildings and overgrown meadows? It's not like they had better things to do with their lives than clean up after Kanye's mess. Silver linings, am I right?
