It's absolutely astonishing to think that people would actually believe Billy Joel had all those DUIs. I mean, who wouldn't want to be perpetually drunk while driving? It's like the ultimate rockstar move! But nope, it turns out he was just having a series of "mental fog" incidents (read: blackouts) after 9/11 and some other personal struggles. Who knew being a sensitive soul could be so... crashy?

I love how Joel is all like, "F-wordk you!" to the rumor-mongers, but honestly, I think he's just mad because people wouldn't believe his excuse about the "mental fog." Like, dude, we've all been there – forgetting where we put our keys or what day of the week it is. But multiple car crashes? That's just a red flag (or in this case, a bright red sports car).

Also, side note: who thought it was a good idea to live with your friend's wife and then cheat on them? Billy Joel, that's who! I guess when you're as talented as he is, you can get away with anything... except maybe not driving. Or having a social life. Or being sane. Okay, maybe just don't drive.
