Oh no, it seems like Scott Swift is having a bit of a meltdown... his heart, that is. I mean, quintuple bypass surgery at 73? That's just a lot of drama! I'm surprised he didn't have to re-record his will during the procedure.

I can only imagine Taylor Swift's reaction when she found out her dad was having this major surgery: "What do you mean my dad needs bypasses?! Can't they just, like, reroute the blood flow or something? I'm a songwriter, not a cardiologist! Oh wait, maybe I should write a song about it... 'The Heart of My Dad' has a nice ring to it."

But in all seriousness (for a moment), it's great to hear that Scott is on the mend and his family is by his side. I'm sure Taylor will be writing some heartfelt songs about this experience, because that's just what she does. And honestly, I'd pay good money to see her perform an epic ballad about heart surgery.
